What format should i send the artwork in?
You can send through artwork in most formats- .jpeg, .tiff, .psd etc.
The main thing to consider is the size of the image- in order to properly print on a t-shirt the resolution needs to be around 300dpi. If you are unsure then try printing out the image at the size you want it to be on the shirt on your home printer. This is how it will come out on the shirt.
For badges the resolution can be lower (around 200dpi) but will still need to be quite high in order to ensure print quality.
How do you print on the garments?
The image is screen-printed onto the garment by pushing plastic ink through a fine mesh, this is then heat-cured into the garment at 300 degrees. This will ensure a highly opaque and very durable print that wont run or fade when washed.
Are other t-shirt types available?
Yes, although Fruit of the Loom is our standard t-shirt we also offer Gildan, Hanes or Jerzees. Most other t-shirts will cost a bit more than fruit of the loom so we can supply prices on request for other brands.
How long will t-shirts and badges take to be ready?
Once the artwork has been finalised and payment has been received the t-shirts should be ready within a week although please allow up to 21 days for delivery. If there is any delay to the shirts arriving we will contact you via e-mail.
Badges can be made up quickly and despatched within 2 days of receipt of payment.
If you need t-shirts or badges in a hurry then pease email us and we will try to accomodate your needs.
Can I mix designs of t-shirts in a run?
No, as each design needs to be made into a stencil for printing. This is charged at £20, £30, £40 or £45 according to the number of colours in the image (1,2,3 or 4 colours). So having more than one design will be charged accordingly with each design being a seperate run.
What sizes of t-shirts are available?
You can mix any number of sizes sizes in a t-shirt run. For mens sizes you can order:
small, medium, large, Xlarge, XXlarge
Ladies fitted tees are also available. Please add 10p per t-shirt for these to the total cost. They are available in:
Xsmall, small, medium, large and Xlarge.
Kids size t-shirts are available and charged at 10p less per t-shirt in a run. These are available in:
Ages 3-4, 5-6, 7-8, 9-11 and 12-13
What methods can I use to pay for t-shirts and badges?
We can accept cheque or postal orders for payment. We also can accept pament via Paypal and very soon we will also be able to take payment via debit or credit card.
How detailed can a print be?
For screen printing there is a minimum line thickness of around 0.5 mm. If you have an image that is very detailed you may lose some fine-print detail, especially if you are printing light ink on a dark garment. For printing dark ink on light tees there can be more detail as a finer mesh can be used.
Can I buy a single t-shirt?
Yes, depending on requirements. A single t-shirt with a 1-colour print would be £12.
