Badge designs

Images for badges, although not requiring the same hi-res quality as the t-shirt images, should still not be too small or the finished badge will look very blocky.

You can download a template for the badges in either .png or .psd format using right click->save link as:

Once downloaded, open in an image editor (such as photshop, gimp or coraldraw) and place your artwork in a separate layer underneath the template. Save it as a .psd or .xcf file, and send it to us. The area in the inside circle will be the front of the badge, and for best results we recommend filling up to the outside edge for bleed.

Keep in mind how small the badges are when designing your image, as very small text or thin lines may not appear on the badge!

T-shirt designs

It is best to create your t-shirt image at 300dpi resolution, at the size you want it to be when printed. This is due to the fact that, although your image may look great on screen at a low resolution, it will not look the same when printed as the printer calculates the resolution differently (lines per inch rather than dots per inch) so will likely look very pixellated.

The image should be as sharp as it can be. Although applying blurring effects will make it look less blocky on your monitor, this will not translate to a design stencil and some image quality will be lost

You can send us most image formats (.jpeg, .psd, .tiff, .ai etc) as long as it is a high enough quality, although a vector based program such as Illustrator or Inkscape will produce the smoothest results. Maximum size for any 1 print area is around A3.

We can do simple colour seperation and processing for you, although more complex separation/ graphics manipulation may incur extra charges. We will always advise you of this before going ahead with them.
